​Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue (CCLRR) was "born" in July 1998 due to the great need to find loving homes for abused, abandoned or unwanted Labrador Retrievers in the Central Valley. We are an all-volunteer organization. Our dogs are in foster homes or with their current families; we do not have a central facility or shelter. We adopt to homes north to Redding and south to Fresno, and from the S.F. Bay Area south to Monterey County.

Our Mission: CCLRR, a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity, is dedicated to alleviating the needless death and suffering of homeless or misplaced (lost and stray) purebred Labrador Retrievers, as well as Labrador mixes, mostly in high-kill overpopulated pet areas. By rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labradors in high-kill areas, vigorously promoting responsible dog ownership through active participation in pet-related events, and through our own education program, we strive for a better life for each of our animals.
