Volunteering
There are many different ways you can help. We cover shelters from Yuba City south to Turlock, and the Auburn and Placerville areas west to Martinez and Tracy. We need volunteers willing to do some (or all) of the following:
-
Administrative
-
Computer/Database
-
Identify and evaluate labs,
-
Transport labs,
-
Foster labs until new owners are found,
-
Help with fundraising.
If you are interested in more information or have any questions about our volunteer opportunities, please email
volunteering@cc-labrescue.org or fill out our Volunteer Questionnaire.
If you are interested in fostering, please fill out, sign, and submit the Foster Parent Questionnaire.
We would love for you to join our team!
Foster Program
Our greatest need is for foster homes. Fostering is the life’s blood of our organization. It's simple: the more people who open their homes for fostering, the more dogs we can save. It's a rewarding way to give to our organization and it's a critical part of what we do. Most importantly, it's fun!
We Provide:
-
Leash, toys, food, bedding, medication and kennel, as needed.
-
You will have access to a mentor for all your questions and/or concerns.
-
LAB-CAB volunteers can assist with getting your foster to and from the vet, as needed.
-
Your mentor will help with reviewing adoption applications and meeting with potential adopters.
You Provide:
-
Daily Care
-
Routine exercise
-
And Most Important - LOVE!
