This list is not necessarily exhaustive nor current. CCLRR lists these shelters because there are almost always wonderful Labs (and other animals) in need of a good home who are waiting in the shelters. Please go check them out!!
CCLRR allows Labs to be placed on our web page under the heading INDEPENDENT RESCUERS  that are with owners, independent rescuers and others. These Labs have not been seen by or evaluated by Lab Rescue and are not part of our program. You will be dealing directly with independent rescuers or owners and not with Lab Rescue volunteers. Since Lab Rescue has not evaluated these Labs, we have no knowledge of their temperment and assume no liability therein.

Other Individuals and Agencies that May Have Labs Available

Whenever possible, Lab Rescue (CCLRR) will  list Labradors that are available through other area animal shelters, other rescue organizations and individual rescuers.  If you know of a Labrador that is in need of a home, that is available through an organization such as these, please e-mail us and we will post the information. The organizations below are not part of Central California Labrador Rescue, Inc. We provide this service as a courtesy only.

GOMER
Black Lab GSP Pointer mix who might make a good upland game dog. Has more of a GSP temperament: reticent, timid. The family that takes this dog home will have a loyal companion. Mostly black with white sparkes on the toes.

PUPPY
Here's your agility dog!! Lab mix pup maybe border collie but hard to tell. She is rather small at 3 to 4 months of age so may grow up less than 50 lbs. VERY happy puppy. Very smart. Loves people. Wouldn't leave you on a bet. Loves to retrieve. Carries her leash and never stopped running the entire time we had her out, but comes every time you call her. Whoever adopts this dog will have no need of other entertainment. All she needs is someone to appreciate all the love she has to give.
